Tulsi Therapeutics is actively transferring technology from the United States with the goal of large-scale manufacturing of affordable, high-quality mesenchymal stem cells and exosomes.
Incubated at Aspire Bionest, funded by BIRAC (Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council) a Govt. of India initiative, Tulsi Therapeutics has achieved several significant milestones, including the successful testing of its product in an animal model of liver failure. This trial is noteworthy as it marks the first instance globally of combining stem cells and exosomes in an animal study.
The ultimate objective is to secure drug approval to facilitate effective treatment options for patients suffering from liver failure and other serious medical conditions that have no treatment options. This will be a “made in India” therapeutic with the potential for India to be a global hub for stem cell treatments due to world class quality and low treatment cost.

Dr. A.S. Narayana is a dental surgeon and former Professor of Dental Surgery at the Government Dental College in Hyderabad. For over four decades, he has championed rural oral healthcare as the State Coordinator of the Andhra Pradesh School Health Services, organizing free dental camps across villages since 1974. Driven by a profound commitment to community well-being, Dr. Narayana established the Sai Oral Health Foundation, through which he has conducted weekly medical camps and lectures on oral hygiene—reaching an estimated 1.5 million children in 20,000 schools in rural india. For his services he received the Padma Shri - one of India’s highest civilian awards, as well as the B.C. Roy Award - the highest medical award of the Government of India

After earning her medical degree from Coimbatore Medical College in India, she went on to complete the prestigious MRCOG (Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) with a gold medal in the United Kingdom. She is also board-certified in Internal Medicine in the United States.
